Toxic Wedding est la représentation du mariage toxique entre Monsanto et Bayer, survenu en juin 2018. En absorbant Monsanto, le géant pharmaceutique et agrochimique allemand Bayer rend invisible le fabricant du glyphosate, ce produit hautement toxique que l’on retrouve dans presque tous les aliments issus de l’agriculture conventionnelle.
Cette œuvre a été placée à l’entrée de la plateforme chimique de Pont-de-Claix, comme un rappel à la vigilance de la part de l’artiste.
Toxic Wedding represents the toxic marriage between Monsanto and Bayer, which took place in June 2018. By acquiring Monsanto, the German pharmaceutical and agrochemical giant Bayer seeks to make the manufacturer of glyphosate invisible — this highly toxic product that can be found in almost all foods from conventional agriculture.
This artwork was placed at the entrance to the Pont-de-Claix chemical platform, as a call for vigilance from the artist.
