Maître du clin d’œil, Maye nous propose un retour en enfance avec ce manège plein de références à l’histoire, à l’innocence, mais aussi au monde actuel !
Que ce soient les tags et graffitis à peine visibles sur le petit train ou le bas du manège, les vieilles images de Grenoble chinées sur place dans les cadres au-dessus du personnage, ou les motifs cachés comme l’œil d’Horus, tout dans cette œuvre nous invite à une partie de cache-cache intellectuelle, récréative et poétique… qui n’hésite pas à nous ouvrir les yeux sur le monde tel qu’il est vraiment.
