Avec bientôt 20 albums à son actif, Nicolas Keramidas est un dessinateur de bande dessinée reconnu qui travaille avec les plus grands éditeurs français.
Nicolas s’est fait opérer du cœur à l’âge d’un an, puis de nouveau 43 ans plus tard, en 2016, au CHU de Grenoble. L’auteur a raconté cette histoire de cœur dans sa BD À cœur ouvert, éditée par Dupuis en 2021.
Cette œuvre est directement tirée d’une des planches de la BD et synthétise à elle seule une partie de l’histoire, mais aussi de l’ambiance vécue entre ces murs. En y regardant de plus près, une deuxième ombre au sol devant la fenêtre de droite invite le spectateur à entrer lui aussi dans l’image et dans l’histoire, à venir tenir compagnie au malade…
Cette œuvre est une invitation à la compassion, à l’empathie et à l’entraide, mais également à la contemplation, grandement aidée par notre paysage de montagnes et de nature à portée de main.

With nearly 20 albums to his name, Nicolas Keramidas is a renowned comic book artist who works with France’s leading publishers.
Nicolas underwent heart surgery at the age of one, and then again 43 years later, in 2016, at the Grenoble University Hospital (CHU). The author recounted this personal heart story in his graphic novel À cœur ouvert (Open Heart), published by Dupuis in 2021.
This mural is directly inspired by one of the plates from the book and encapsulates both part of the story and the atmosphere experienced within these walls. Looking more closely, a second shadow on the ground in front of the right-hand window invites the viewer to step into the image and the story as well, to come and keep the patient company…
This work is an invitation to compassion, empathy and mutual aid, but also to contemplation, greatly enhanced by our mountain and natural landscape right at our doorstep.
